My approach to therapy.
I work in a Person-Centred way. This is grounded in the belief that we can begin to understand ourselves more deeply when we have a relationship in which we feel genuinely seen, heard and accepted. Therapy can offer you a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, reconnect with yourself and explore what might help you move towards a life that feels more authentic and meaningful to you.
I’m not here to judge you, fix you or tell you what you should do. Instead, I offer a warm, accepting and non-judgemental space where you can bring whatever feels important to you. Together, we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface, reflect on your experiences and make space for thoughts and feelings that might be difficult to process on your own.
I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to listen closely, with curiosity and empathy, and to stay alongside you as you make sense of your experiences in your own way and at your own pace. Sometimes, through having the space to really listen to and ‘meet’ yourself, things that have felt confusing, stuck or difficult to name can begin to become clearer.
